WHAT IS FACE YOGA?


Face Yoga are easy-to-do exercises tone facial muscles, boost collagen production and aliviate muscular tension.




WHAT MAKES LIFT & GLOW A WHOLISTIC SYSTEM?


LIFT & GLOW incorporates toning face and body exercises, anti-aging facial massage and acupressure techniques and nutritional guidance that preserve your youthful appearance and reverse the signs of aging, healing and restoring from within.




WHO IS IT SUITABLE FOR?


It is suitable for all skin types, ethnicities and ages. Both men and women.




HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET VISIBLE RESULTS?


Some people start to see and feel results right away, even after the first practice!

Clearly visible results can usually be seen, with daily practice, as early as the end of the first week, provided that you practice consistently and follow the nutritional, lifestyle and skin routine advised by your LIFT & GLOW trainer.

You should notice significant improvement in facial contour, skin elasticity and facial muscle tone after 3-4 weeks of practice. Both you and those around you will notice a tremendous difference and the maximum effect of your hard work after 3-4 months of consistent daily practice.




HOW LONG DO I NEED TO DO IT & HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?


As with any exercise routine the effects are long lasting.

Guided practice is recommended at least once or twice a week. It ensures that you are doing the exercises in the correct order and with precise technique. For optimal results it is best to have a short daily routine - first thing in the morning and right before going to bed, as well as a through workout 1-2 per week.

Morning practice can help reduce puffiness, energize the skin and boost collagen production, whereas evening practice helps to relive muscle tension and promote peaceful sleep.




WHAT IF I INTERRUPT PRACTICING FACE YOGA?


As with any training, if you interrupt practicing for several days or weeks or even a month or two, you will still keep the results, while if you permanently quit training you will over time, gradually start losing the achieved results. However, with Face Yoga there have been many cases where some facial issues have been permanently solved.




CAN FACE YOGA CAUSE MORE WRINKLES OR SAGGING?


No, it could only happen if you do not perform the exercises correctly. It is hence recommended and important to start practicing Face Yoga under an expert’s supervision, to ensure that you are engaging the correct muscles at the adequate intensity.




WHAT IF I CANNOT DO SOME OF THE EXCERSICES OR AM ENABLE TO ENGAGE SOME OF MY FACIAL MUSCLES?


Practice makes perfect. As we are naturally unaware of most of or facial mimic or muscle movement, it may, for some, be somewhat challenging at first to become aware of targeted muscle movement, however with expert guidance, explanation and correction you are sure to get the hang of it in no time.

Yes, the use, practice and application of other natural methods and procedure will positively complement the results of LIFT & GLOW practice.




CAN IT BE PRACTICED AFTER FACIAL SURGERY, FILLER AND BOTOX?


4 weeks post injectables (Botox and Fillers) and Collagen Threads

2-4 weeks post Plasma Pen or Laser Resurfacing (or until the skin is completely healed)

1 week post chemical peel of micro-needling (or until the skin is completely healed)

6 months post cranial and or maxillofacial surgery, facial plastic surgery




ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS?


Facial exercise, massage and acupressure are completely safe, natural and non-invasive rejuvenation and anti-aging methods, hence have almost no contraindications.

It is however not temporarily recommended, until symptom dissipation, in the following cases:

Active Sinusitis or Conjunctivitis

Cystic Acne, Psoriasis, Dermatitis, Eczema, Rosacea Flare-ups or any other current inflammatory face skin conditions.

3 months post Acute Cardio or Lymphatic Conditions

Open or healing facial wounds (until the skin is completely healed)

Facial Nerve Damage

Herniated Neck Discs




IS IT BETTER TO PRACTICE IN A GROUP CLASS, PRIVATE SESSION OR BUY AN ONLINE COURSE?


All three of these delivery methods have their own pros and cons:




WHERE ARE THE GROUP CLASSES HELD?


Group classes are held online via Zoom. You will not need to create a zoom account as you will be sent a link that will automatically enable you to join a group class.




WHAT DOES A TYPICAL CLASS COMPRISE OF?


A typical LIFT & GLOW Wholistic Face Yoga class consists of a combination of easy-to-do body and face muscle toning exercises, anti-aging massage and acupressure point work.




WHAT WILL I NEED FOR THE CLASSES?


A yoga mat or a thick towel

Face oil (such as Bio Oil or any other suitable oil)

Internet connection

PC or any smart device with a camera
